Purpose of the Role
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations through accurate inventory control, system transactions, stock reconciliation, and material accountability, ensuring inventory integrity and uninterrupted operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify and safely store all materials and supplies.
- Process material issues, receipts and stock transfers through the inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction history. Perform daily, monthly and ad hoc stock reconciliations.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests. Prepare inventory reports, stock variance reports and consumption analysis.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance and operational departments regarding material requests and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, asset management requirements and audit standards.
- Maintain proper stores organization, labelling and storage practices.
- Ensure financial inventory accuracy through disciplined stock control, system integrity, inventory reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Prepare inventory variance reports and support Finance during inventory reconciliations and audits.
