Position Summary
To assist the Division and vendors with all aspects of donor relations, donor cultivation and gift stewardship for an assigned caseload of Mid-level Donors, with a goal of increasing Major Gift Donor prospects and income within the region.
Essential Functions
- Build and maintain a relationship between caseload donors and TSA through program updates, calls, emails, cards, appreciation notes, and gifts to case load donors.
- Create donor acknowledgments and receipts within 24 hours.
- Call and thank donors within 48 hours.
- Connect with caseload donors through phone, mail, and email. Provide information regarding local programs and results. Cultivate donor relationship with TSA.
- Respond to donor inquiries (by email and phone) in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Send new donor welcome kits.
- Invite donors to special events and tours.
- Maintain updated records on donors in database.
- Document relevant details about the donors gathered from conversation and research in donor database.
- Provide monthly reports on giving patterns to reflect upgrades, conversion, and retention rates.
- Refer MG prospects to DRDs as appropriate.-
- Other tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), spelling, grammar.
- Exceptional inter-personal and phone skills
- Must be comfortable interfacing with a wide variety of constituents—development staff, donors, businesses, board members and others.
- Excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Proficient computer literacy and proficient in using the internet for research.
- Analytical and comfortable working with databases, Blackbaud CRM preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other computer programs.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
- High capacity to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Able to self-direct and work independently to identify and solve problems.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Comfortable building relationships with donors though face to face meetings, phone, email and written communications.
- Fast learner.
