Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Front Load CDL Driver to join our team in Douglas, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect waste and recyclables from residential and commercial locations, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate front load garbage trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collect waste and recyclable materials from assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work and requires operating heavy machinery. The driver must be able to work in all weather conditions and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
