What You'll Do
- Lead all day-to-day operations of the Service Department.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top-performing technicians, supervisors, and service personnel.
- Drive technician productivity, efficiency, proficiency, and profitability.
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional communication and service.
- Manage departmental budgets, labor sales, gross profit, and key performance indicators.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and manufacturer standards.
- Partner with dealership leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer satisfaction, and overall department performance.
What You'll Bring
- Three or more years of leadership experience in heavy-duty truck, fleet, automotive, heavy equipment, or related service operations.
- Previous Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of diesel truck service operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and departmental profitability.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience using dealership management systems and service software.
