HR/Compliance Officer
About this role
- Draft and manage all employment contracts, NDAs, and Service Level Agreements.
- Ensure the company stays up-to-date with Nigerian Labor Laws and educational
regulations.
- Maintain organized, digital personnel files and ensure all staff documentation is complete
and accurate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal disciplinary procedures and labor
relations.
- Maintain the company intranet (e.g., via Notion or Google Sites) as the "central source of
truth" for the team.
- Organize and update all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training manuals, and
company policies.
- Ensure all team members can easily access the latest versions of necessary documents
and templates.
- Coordinate the hiring process for staff.
- Manage a structured onboarding program to ensure new hires understand their roles and
company standards quickly.
- Monitor staff performance metrics to help maintain company-wide productivity and
profitability.
- Documentation: 100% of staff records are accurate and legally compliant.
- Knowledge Access: The company intranet is kept current, reducing the time staff spend
searching for information.
- Onboarding: New hires are successfully integrated and hitting performance targets within
their first month.
- Optimize Labor ROI: Monitor "Revenue per Employee" to ensure our team
size scales profitably.
- Accelerate Onboarding: Use the company intranet to reduce the time it
takes for new hires to become 100% productive.
- Risk Management: Eliminate financial leakages caused by poor
documentation or labour non-compliance.
Requirements
- Education: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or a degree in Human Resources with a strong legal
focus.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience. We welcome high-performing junior candidates
with a legal background.
- Technical Skills: Must be tech-savvy and comfortable building/organizing internal digital
platforms (Intranet).
- Skills: Strong drafting and proofreading skills; ability to interpret regulations; excellent
organizational habits.
