Join a dynamic finance team where you'll take ownership of statutory reporting, lead the month-end process, and drive financial accuracy across the organisation. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strong internal controls and overseeing the delivery of a high-quality finance service.

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards completion of qualification.
  • Proven previous experience as a Finance Manager or similar roles.
Financial Operations
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and Bank processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Oversee cash management, including monitoring cash flow, reviewing cash forecasts, and optimising liquidity.
  • Coordinate month-end closing processes, ensuring all the entries are processed and posted on time.
  • Utilise Microsoft D365 F&O (“PawPoint”) financial system to effectively manage nominal codes and trial balances for the month-end/year-end process.
Reconciliations and Reporting
  • Review bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Lead balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage the process and reconciliation of deferred income, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Oversee fixed assets management, including depreciation calculations and reconciliation.
 Compliance and Controls
  • Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in implementing financial controls and processes and ensuring relevant teams follow these.
Leadership and General Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining focus on the big-picture objectives of the organisation.
  • Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Take on ad hoc duties and special projects to support organisational goals.
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days, in addition to statutory holidays. Staff may also receive additional days for any approved business closure days over the festive period in December, Option to buy up to five days of annual leave per year.
