Member of Talent Staff (MTS)
About this role
About Rox
Rox is an AI-native B2B revenue intelligence company. We are a Series A startup under active construction, seven months ago we were just under 60 people, today we are closing in on 130. We move fast, we ship constantly, and we build with the same AI-native systems we sell to our customers.
About the Team
Talent at Rox has been a team of one. That is about to change.
We are hiring the second full time member of the Talent team, and we want to be direct about what that means. This is a Recruiting Operations role at its core, built for someone who wants to own the machinery behind hiring at Rox: how interviews get allocated and scheduled, how conversion gets measured and improved, how reporting reaches the people who need it, and how we build a talent community that shows up in person, not just in a spreadsheet.
Yesterday alone, our Head of Talent sourced candidates, scheduled interviews, ran interviews, built reporting, attended an external event, shipped several Claude-built internal tools, demoed the Rox product twice, and dogfooded a new feature. That range is the job, with Recruiting Operations as the backbone underneath all of it. If you want a role with a narrow lane, this is not it.
What You Will Do
Interview Allocation, Scheduling, and Conversion
Own interview scheduling and coordination end to end across every open role, from first screen to onsite
Build and manage interviewer allocation, ensuring the right people are in the room and load is balanced across the team
Track and improve conversion at every stage of the funnel, and flag where the process is losing candidates before it becomes a pattern
Build the systems and automations (Ashby, Slack, Claude) that make scheduling and allocation something that scales past one person doing it manually
Reporting Cadence and Deliverables
Own the recurring reporting cadence for hiring teams and leadership, on time, every time
Build and maintain the dashboards and reports that give hiring managers and executives real visibility into pipeline health, velocity, and conversion
Turn Ashby and Slack data into a single source of truth leadership can act on, not just a status update
Talent Community
Build and run Rox's IRL talent community, recruiting events, meetups, and touchpoints that build pipeline before a role even opens
Represent Rox at events, on calls, and in every candidate touchpoint as a face of the company
Turn one-time attendees into a warm, ongoing network the team can activate for future hiring
Beyond the Core
Build and ship internal recruiting tools and automations (Claude, Ashby, Slack, Notion)
Get hands-on with the Rox product itself, including regular dogfooding, so you can sell the mission with real conviction
Support agency and partner coordination as needed
What We Are Looking For
Recruiting Operations, Recruiting Coordinator, or Talent Operations experience, ideally in a fast-moving startup environment
Proven ownership of interview scheduling and allocation at scale, you know what breaks when volume goes up and you build for it in advance
A reporting instinct. You do not wait to be asked for a number, you already know where to find it and how to present it
Operator first. You do not wait for a lane to be defined, you build it
Comfort working across the full stack of modern recruiting tools: Ashby, Slack, Notion, and AI-native workflows built in Claude
Event or community-building experience a strong plus, this role owns Rox's IRL talent presence
A track record that shows ownership, speed, craftsmanship, and learning velocity, the same bar we hold every candidate to at Rox
Someone who wants to grow into owning significant parts of the Talent function over time
Compensation
Base salary range: $120,000 to $200,000, plus equity.
We lead with base. Options are part of the offer, but they do not pay rent or a mortgage today, so the base is built to be something you can walk in and count on.
Our Stack
Ashby, Slack, Notion, and a growing set of custom AI-native tools built in Claude.
Location
This role is based in San Francisco, in-office.
A note on how we hire: at Rox, we evaluate for ownership, client obsession, craftsmanship, speed, pivot ability, collaboration, cross-functional impact, systems thinking, and learning velocity. We expect this role, more than any other, to embody that bar.
