The Position
We are looking for a Communications Partner to drive strategic communication initiatives, enhance brand reputation, and shape impactful internal and external stories aligned with Roche’s global vision.
Responsibilities
- Create annual communication strategic plan aligned with Roche’s vision
- Consult Roche’s digital communication activities in line with the Annual Communication Strategic Plan
- Create and implement projects (including global project localization) that will increase Roche’s corporate reputation (agency management, event planning, creative process, communication activities and reporting to executive level and region)
- Develop and execute communication strategies for business/products via active participation to brand reviews
- Plan, coordinate, and execute digital initiatives and social media management strategies for disease areas and relevant projects
- Create and lead 360-degree communication activities (Both external & internal) & disease awareness projects in coordination with Patient Affairs Team (pitch processes, agency briefing, creative process, content creation, agency management, event planning, reporting)
- Manage brand-based communication crisis and issues
- Drive issue and crisis management governance by organizing necessary frameworks, processes, and content across local channels.
- Monitor media (traditional & digital) and report outcomes instantly
- Manage Roche-contracted agencies (pitch processes, follow-up on performance/satisfaction, fee agreements, etc.)
- Help create and support corporate social responsibility projects aligned with global guidance
- Evaluate corporate sponsorship opportunities and execute selected partnerships
- Support internal employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with People&Culture team
- Plan, coordinate and support internal activities such as town hall meetings, cycle meetings etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations (Agency or In-house experience across various industries is welcome)
- Strong experience in media relations, press management, and agency governance
- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end digital communication projects, content strategies, and social media channels
- Proven experience of developing and executing measurable communication programs and campaigns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work in cross-functional teams and agile environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English
