Multi Technician

Job Purpose: 

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of facility equipment and technical systems. The position supports operational continuity by minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring all assets operate efficiently and reliably. Working closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and operational stakeholders, the role contributes to the overall performance and upkeep of company facilities. How you will make an impact 

(Key responsibilities): 

1. Maintenance Operations & Technical Support 

•  Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and related facility systems.
•   Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved schedules, technical standards, and manufacturer recommendations. 
•  Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. 
•  Respond promptly to breakdowns, service requests, and emergency maintenance requirements. 
•  Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, relocation, and modification activities. 

2. Equipment Reliability & Operational Efficiency 

•  Conduct routine inspections, site rounds, and condition monitoring to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems. 
•  Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures before they impact operations.
•   Recommend improvements and corrective measures to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. 
• Minimize downtime through timely maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. 
•  Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and operational teams to complete maintenance work efficiently.

 3. Safety, Compliance & Asset Care 

•  Follow approved maintenance procedures, permit-to-work requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies at all times. 
•  Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
•   Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and work areas in a safe, organized, and serviceable condition. 
•  Report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, and equipment abnormalities promptly.
•  Maintain a clean and safe working environment across all assigned areas.

 4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, fault reports, and material usage.  Update work orders, maintenance logs, and asset records as required. 
•  Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required. 
•  Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing maintenance effectiveness and operational performance. 
•  Contribute to the achievement of maintenance, reliability, and operational KPIs.

Qualifications & Skills 

•  Diploma, ITI, or Certificate in Electro-Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•  1-5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, or Technical Services environments.
•   Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, electrical controls, booster and transfer pump control panels, and plumbing systems. 
•  Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis capabilities across multiple technical disciplines. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation. 
•  Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.  Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic equipment. 
•  Strong awareness of workplace health, safety, and maintenance compliance requirements. 
•  Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting and work order management.
•   Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
