Job Summary:

The Project Manager’s main job responsibility includes delivering assigned projects on time and within budget. Project Managers are required to work on multiple assignments with overlapping schedules and need to be able to multi-task to accomplish all tasks. The project manager will also train, direct, and mentor Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers.

 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage, direct, and monitor quality and progress at each phase of a project
  • Oversee and assist with the preparation of construction documents and other project deliverables
  • Prepare internal schedules and proposals for new opportunities
  • Review billing summaries
  • Serve as point of contact between RLG and the client
  • Participate in hiring personnel
  • Assist in employee performance reviews / disciplinary actions
  • Prepare bid packages and technical specifications
  • Responsible for creating an enjoyable work environment for staff and personnel
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Candidates should have experience with site civil design and permitting and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Required
  • Professional Engineering License Required
  • 5+ years of related experience required

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Occasional travel to project sites
