Digital Learning Developer
About this role
The Opportunity
Riskonnect is seeking a Digital Learning Developer to create and continuously improve engaging digital learning for employees, customers and partners.
Working with Product teams, subject matter experts and training stakeholders, you will translate complex software functionality and business processes into clear, practical learning content. You will contribute across the full content lifecycle, from defining requirements and structuring courses to authoring, testing, publishing and maintenance.
This is an opportunity to combine instructional design, eLearning technology, multimedia and responsible AI use while helping expand Riskonnect Academy’s global content portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business units, Product teams and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, understand product behaviour and define course requirements.
- Use approved AI tools, instructional-design principles and content standards to develop learning objectives, course structures, scripts, storyboards and assessments.
- Create, publish, test and maintain engaging eLearning courses and supporting assets using appropriate authoring and multimedia tools, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and aligned with current product functionality.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and relevant training stakeholders to review and improve content based on business changes, learner feedback, survey data and assessment results, while maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Manage assigned content-development activities and deliver work within agreed timelines.
- Keep up to date with developments in AI, instructional design and digital-learning technologies, recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Support other learning-content initiatives as reasonably required.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- At least two years’ experience in eLearning, digital content development or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of instructional design principles and digital learning development.
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools; Articulate Storyline or Rise is preferred.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts and quickly understand software products and workflows.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly to support research, course design and content development, while validating outputs for accuracy and quality.
- Strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving and time-management skills.
Desirable
- Experience with SaaS products, multimedia editing, LMS platforms, or SCORM.
