Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Financial System Analyst for the Head Office, Ville St-Laurent, Québec.
The Financial System Analyst is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting and operations. This is a technical role focused on implementing system enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and an interest in both finance and technology. This role plays a key part in modernizing financial processes and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:
System Administration & Support
- Administer and configure financial systems (ERP, budgeting tools, reporting platforms).
- Provide end-user support and training for financial applications.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in financial operations, with a focus on automation and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems.
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards for management.
Project Management
- Operate in a project-driven finance environment, supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
- Document requirements, test solutions, and manage change requests.
Requirements :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in financial systems analysis or similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), JDE an asset.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, MS Access, and reporting tools (e.g., Hubble, Power BI, Tableau).
