Position Overview
The role will be responsible for driving the strategy for the Transitions Project. You will lead the end-to-end execution and act as the primary contact for the Transitions Project. This is a 1 year contract.
This is an existing vacancy.
Strategy Execution
• Lead end-to-end execution of the transition program by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (PPI, Transitions, Legal, Compliance, and Sales Communications teams).
• Operationalize processes and workflows to ensure efficient, compliant, and seamless transition delivery.
• Champion the iAWIS strategy by driving engagement, alignment, and buy-in across leadership, management, and key stakeholders
Operations and Support
• Act as a primary point of contact for advisors for transition, guiding them through documentation requirements and supporting timely completion.
• Facilitate and expedite approvals (advisor/carriers/contracts) within APEXA, ensuring adherence to established timelines and standards. Sign off on book-of-business transfer requests
• Deliver responsive, high-quality support by addressing advisor inquiries promptly and effectively, contributing to a positive transition experience.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance key documents (e.g., Advisor Packages, Roles & Responsibilities etc.) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Monitor iAWIS mailbox daily to answer Advisor queries, engage stakeholders if needed.
• Act as iAWIS’ AMF contact and AMF Assistant Correspondent.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in either insurance or wealth operations providing support to Advisors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated passion for the financial services industry
• Strong proficiency in French (written and verbal) is highly advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously
• Act as iAWIS’ AMF contact and AMF Assistant Correspondent.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 .
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
