We currently have an opening for a Safety Specialist to join our team located at our manufacturing facility in Hot Springs, AR. 

Responsibilities

Your Role: 

As an Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for championing, designing, developing, and implementing safety improvement projects to reduce risk. The EH&S Specialist will maintain updated OSHA and EPA required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary under the direction of the EHS Manager as well as maintaining and expanding a solid foundation of Environmental Health and Safety excellence.

• Assist in injury, accident and fire investigaion reporting.
• Implement and conduct training for EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Perform safety and environmental related audits.
• Maintain the plant’s safety database records, and toolbox talk database.
• Conduct routine facility inspections.
• Perform root cause analysis of environmental and safety incidents.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Environmental, Health, Safety or a related field
• Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• 2+ years of progressive and related professional health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
