- Ensures that the assigned departments and employees adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations governing processes, products, and employees as well as environmental, health and safety requirements
- Ensure that manufacturing teams following all company policies and procedures at all times and takes immediate corrective actions when needed e.g. pipetting calibrations, safety training
- Provide ongoing leadership, support and mentorship of direct reports and department team members
- Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators and metrics and take countermeasures when necessary to ensure continued attainment of long-term goals and objectives
- Create and enact plans and projects that support manufacturing’s performance goals, budgets and business strategy
- Regularly collaborate with leaders of other manufacturing groups, quality control, quality assurance and product development team to achieve company’s goals and meet customer needs
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in biology related field
- More than 5 years of relevant biotechnology work experience
- More than 3 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- PhD or Masters degree in biology related field
- Working knowledge of equipment and process used in protein purification and conjugation process
- More than 3 years of working knowledge of GMP and ISO13485 regulations as well as quality management system
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
