Growth Marketing Lead, Capital Formation
About this role
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and scale paid acquisition campaigns across paid social, search, and programmatic channels to drive qualified investor traffic to Rex's direct crowdfunding platform.
- Complement paid acquisition with organic content strategy, working with content and brand resources to build additional top-of-funnel demand.
- Own the investor funnel end to end: landing pages, lead capture forms, and conversion tracking, ensuring every stage is instrumented and optimized.
- Design and run a continuous testing and optimization system across creative, targeting, landing pages, and offers, rather than managing one-off campaigns.
- Set and manage channel budget in partnership with the team, and make independent day-to-day decisions on spend allocation, creative, and targeting to hit performance targets.
- Ensure all campaigns, landing pages, and investor-facing messaging comply with Reg D 506(c) marketing, accredited-investor verification, and disclosure requirements, partnering with legal/compliance on creative and copy review as needed.
- Track and report on funnel performance and capital velocity, treating investor dollars raised through the channel, not just leads or traffic, as the core success metric.
- Partner closely with capital formation and deal teams to align campaign timing and messaging with live and upcoming raises.
- Build and maintain a rigorous view of CAC, conversion rates, and channel-level ROI, and use that data to reallocate spend toward what is actually working.
- Own the platform experience investors land on, coordinating with product and design to remove friction between first click and funded investment.
- Operate with the urgency of someone who understands that channel performance directly determines how fast Rex can deploy capital into deals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4-7 years of experience in performance or paid media, with direct ownership of paid social, search, and/or programmatic channels.
- Exposure to fintech, real estate, crowdfunding, or other high-consideration direct-response categories strongly preferred.
- Experience marketing regulated investment offerings (e.g., Reg D, Reg A+, Reg CF) a strong plus; comfortable operating within accredited-investor verification and disclosure constraints, or a fast learner on compliance-bound marketing.
- Proven ability to own a channel solo, from strategy and budget through day-to-day execution, without needing a large team behind them.
- Track record of building testing and optimization systems, not just running individual campaigns; comfortable with a continuous hypothesis-test-iterate cadence.
- Strong command of funnel mechanics: landing page optimization, lead capture, and conversion tracking across the full investor journey.
- Fluent in performance marketing analytics and attribution, able to connect ad spend to funnel conversion to capital raised. Hands-on experience with tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, and an attribution platform (e.g., Triple Whale or Northbeam) preferred.
- Familiarity with investor CRM/portal platforms (e.g., InvestNext, SyndicationPro) a plus.
- Comfortable operating with real budget accountability and reporting performance against outcomes that matter to the business, not vanity metrics.
- Thinks like an owner of the channel rather than a media buyer executing someone else's brief.
- High urgency and bias to action, understanding that channel performance is a direct input to capital velocity.
- Deeply aligned with Rex's mission to catalyze human flourishing through direct access to real estate capital.
- Customer Fanatic. We fanatically focus on customers, seeking to ever-deliver more value, and inventing and innovating on their behalf.
- Product/Service Passion. Our business thrives or dies by products and services.
- Ludicrous Speed. Our default pace is extremely fast. Time is precious, life is short, and moving fast is more fun and effective.
- FAWOMO. We will find a way, or make one.
- Loves Going to War. Prefers wartime to peacetime, always hungry to move forward, do more, and push growth.
- Chutzpah. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Fortune favors the bold. Duc in altum.
- Fun. We should only do work, over the long run, that is fun, and work with fun people. Jokes and humor welcomed, PC stuff and uptight behavior prohibited.
- Never-Lose-Money Approach. Protects the downside, using careful analysis before deploying significant resources, and ensuring cash is plentiful, never risking what others have and need for what they do not have and do not need.
- Other-Centered. Idealist, desperate more than anything to leave an impact with their life by helping other people, seeing money as a means to serve.
- Creative Cost Cutting Constantly. There is always a smarter way, always room to cut, always ways to do more with less. A cost advantage is a competitive edge.
- Fewer, More Capable. Bias to as lean of a team as possible, with the highest competency, reducing communication and coordination, creating more effectiveness.
- Underdogs. What we have done is nothing compared to what we are going to achieve now. We are fighting to be the best, clawing and biting up and forward, aiming to be the champs, be number one. Scrappy AF no matter how much we accomplish. We have never arrived in our minds. We are the underdogs always.
- Other Attributes Valued. Point-blank forthrightness in conversation with teammates, brutally facing problems. Velvet glove with iron fist in human dealings. Shrewd as a serpent innocent as a dove. Hardcore work hustle. Invictus mentality. Swagger with humility. Quiet professionalism. Thrifty and not materialistic. Loves who they work with, loves what they do, and loves who we serve.
