Quality Assurance Technician
About this role
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join our team! The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for inspecting raw materials and work in process with finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is ideal. A background in printing, packaging or a similar industry is a huge plus!
Pay range 20.00 to 25.00 hour
Responsibilities
- Examines purchase order and/or other documents to secure details regarding size, colors, content and other product characteristics being inspected for.
- Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system and conformity to specified standards.
- Tests samples of product and documents results.
- Approves or rejects product and writes report of inspection results
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); college degree in related field preferred
- One year or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year or more of experience working in a manufacturing environment, printing, packaging or folding carton experience preferred
