Equipment Service/ Maintenance Technician
About this role
- Repair and maintenance of the facility's systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical machines and structural components
- Restock washroom supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Sanitize and clean entire bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and mirrors
- Empty garbage cans from the kitchen, restrooms, and other areas throughout the facility
- Mop front office and reception areas, along with other areas as needed
- Maintain the break room daily, including weekly cleaning of the refrigerator
- Dry mop storage rooms and production areas throughout the facility
- Inspect the exterior property daily for issues, including cleaning and trash removal
- Take weekly inventory of cleaning and bathroom supplies and submit to designated personnel
- High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One year of previous experience as a custodian in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of building stems (e.g. HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus
- Must be able to stand regularly and walk frequently
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hrs. a day
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
