We are hiring a Music Therapist for a Hospice position providing care to patients in their homes in the Rochester Hills and West Bloomfield area.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Provide compassionate music therapy services in accordance with hospice care plans to promote comfort, emotional support, relaxation, and overall quality of life for patients and families
- Educate and support patients and caregivers through therapeutic music interventions, responding to emotional and comfort needs with professionalism, empathy, and flexibility throughout the end-of-life journey
- Work independently but never alone
- Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

Music Therapist Qualifications
- Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
- Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential according to U. S. Certification Board for Music Therapists
- State music therapy licensing where required
- At least six (6) months of work/education experience with geriatric health care
- At least six (6) months of work /education experience with end-of-life/terminal illness health care
- Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
