Job Description
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment reliability to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. Provides front-line technical support, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and works closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and enhance machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues and restore machines to normal operation quickly.
- Support daily production by providing front-line technical assistance and responding promptly to breakdowns.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve machine performance.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts usage, and equipment history for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing (Assembly) preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to die bond, wire bond or vision-based equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and machine manuals.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, sensor, servo, vision, and motion control systems.
- Experience in preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and equipment qualification.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, servo drives, motors, vacuum systems, solid works drawings and ESD control.
- Familiar with cleanroom practices, safety standards, and semiconductor manufacturing discipline.
- Ability to analyze repeat failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement CAPA.
- Good teamwork and communication skills to support front-line production under 24/7 operations.
