Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and general building maintenance, with proven experience in hospitality or property management environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, including guest room repairs, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, HVAC servicing, and painting, while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests and staff.

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) Full Time including weekends

Duties

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Responding to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Performing basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
    • Completing preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property
    • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment
    • Assisting with room inspections and ensuring guestrooms meet brand standards
    • Supporting emergency response situations and after-hours operational needs as required
    • Following all safety procedures and hotel policies

This Maintenance Technician role is integral to maintaining operational excellence across our hotel. We seek dedicated professionals committed to quality work, safety standards, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment
  • Assisting with room inspections and ensuring guestrooms meet brand standards
  • Helping with special projects to benefit hotel
  • Supporting emergency response situations and after-hours operational needs as required
  • Following all safety procedures and hotel policies

Qualifications:

  • Prior maintenance, facilities, or hotel engineering experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight and stand for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
