Job Summary:
The Spa Guest Services Associate assists the spa staff in providing a unique and outstanding spa experience for our members and guests. Also responsible for scheduling all spa related appointments, checking guests in and out, and assisting in retail sales.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • Check guests and members in and out.
  • Process transactions for events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc.
  • Handle administrative functions of the spa including spa software, inventory, telephones, appointments and guest questions.
  • Be the source of information regarding spa treatments, equipment and products.
  • Assist guests in the retail area.
  • Ensure facility is prepared for opening and closing.
  • Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of facilities.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred.

  • 1 year retail experience preferred.

  • Bilingual skills preferred.

  • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with financial information and basic arithmetic functions.

Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
