As a key member of the property leadership team, the Evening Hotel Manager is accountable for the hotel's operations. Reporting to the General Manager and Front Office Manager, the Evening Hotel Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the guest teams to deliver the highest standard of customer service. Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for assisting with the overall performance of the property's front desk department, including guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance.
  • You will supervise the daily operations and the front desk operations and front desk staff, including the supervision of shift closings, and daily reports.
  • You will train all front desk staff as it relates to brand and company standards to maximize service culture.
  • You will assist with sales and the Daily Sell Strategy.
  • You will assist with the implementation of front office programs to enhance the experience and provide leisure enjoyment for the guests.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and remaining up-to-date on new initiatives for the brand and company.
  • You will inspect and ensure that safety and security standards are being maintained.
  • You will support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations ensuring problem resolution.
  • You will conduct daily reviews of guaranteed no-show billing, guest ledger, and accounts receivables.
  • You will perform payment processing.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the Pantry (fully stocked) and notifying the F&B Director.
  • You will assist the Housekeeping inspect guest rooms and public areas if needed.
Qualifications
  • Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
