Job Description
The Ancillary Facilities Manager oversees the day-to-day care, maintenance, and operation of Twin Farms’ employee housing and ancillary properties. This role is responsible for property inspections, maintenance coordination, housing turnovers, vendor management, inventory, and ensuring all properties are safe, clean, well maintained, and consistent with Twin Farms standards.
Working closely with Human Resources, Facilities, Housekeeping, and resort leadership, the Ancillary Facilities Manager helps ensure Twin Farms’ ancillary properties are well cared for, operationally ready, and appropriately maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of employee housing and ancillary properties.
- Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and property improvements with Facilities and outside vendors.
- Track maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up and completion.
- Coordinate housing turnovers, including property readiness for employee arrivals and departures.
- Maintain keys, property inventories, furnishings, appliances, and household supplies.
- Ensure properties meet established cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.
- Identify repair, replacement, and capital improvement needs and communicate them proactively.
- Coordinate seasonal property preparation, including winterization and other seasonal needs.
- Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, inventory, and property records.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine facility and maintenance concerns related to employee housing.
- Partner with Human Resources regarding housing occupancy, move-in and move-out needs, and employee-related housing matters.
- Coordinate vendor access, service appointments, and follow-up work.
- Support occasional urgent facilities or housing needs outside normal business hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, maintenance coordination, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, projects, priorities, and vendors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable conducting property inspections and identifying maintenance and safety concerns.
- Working knowledge of basic building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance preferred.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Twin Farms properties.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move household supplies, equipment, or furnishings.
- Flexibility to respond to occasional property needs outside normal business hours.
