We are seeking a reliable, motivated Tank Technician to join our Tank Operations team. This hands-on position involves cleaning, repairing, reconditioning, and preparing bulk and industrial tanks and related equipment for service.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, repair, recondition, and paint bulk and industrial tanks.
  • Build and repair pumps and meters.
  • Perform industrial tank cleaning and pressure testing.
  • Inspect tanks and equipment to ensure they are in safe, proper operating condition before delivery.
  • Complete tank orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Respond to spill-cleanup and emergency service calls when assigned.
  • Follow all safety and plant/refinery requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and clear MVR.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at elevated heights.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions.
  • Successfully pass required drug screening and background check.
  • Current TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, overtime, and assigned 24/7 on-call emergency response.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pumps and/or pressure testing tanks.
  • 1+ year of warehouse, industrial, or general labor experience.
  • Forklift operating experience.
  • Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
