Senior Packaging, Compliance & ESG Coordinator (6 month fixed term contract)

London, Head Office · On-site

About this role

What’s the role about?

As our Senior Packaging, Compliance & ESG Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting and driving Reiss’ packaging compliance and environmental ESG strategy. Reporting to the ESG Manager, you’ll take ownership of packaging data analysis, compliance requirements and selected packaging workstreams, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and our wider sustainability partners.

This is an opportunity to take on increased responsibility within a growing area of the ESG function, helping to strengthen transparency, improve processes and ensure Reiss remains ahead of evolving packaging legislation and industry expectations.

This position is a 6-month fixed term contract.

Who you are

  • You’ll have previous experience in ESG, sustainability, packaging compliance or a related field, ideally within fashion, retail or a fast-paced consumer environment.
  • You’ll have a strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance, with knowledge of areas such as EPR, UK Plastic Tax and PPWR highly desirable.
  • You’re confident working with data, analysing information and identifying trends or gaps, with strong Excel and systems skills.
  • You’re highly organised and able to take ownership of projects and workstreams, managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders effectively.
  • You’re a confident communicator who can work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to drive action and resolve issues.
  • You’re proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading packaging compliance activities across key legislation, including PPWR, EPR and UK Plastic Tax, ensuring relevant requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Owning the analysis and reporting of packaging data required for compliance, working with suppliers and internal teams to ensure information is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
  • Managing supplier follow-up and evidence gathering across packaging legislation, identifying gaps and driving actions through to completion.
  • Driving the use of traceable, nominated and preferred packaging materials, advising relevant teams on best practice and identifying opportunities to improve compliance and sustainability.
  • Supporting the development of Reiss’ packaging strategy and improved process controls, including the centralisation and management of packaging data.
  • Supporting preferred fibre and certification capture, using systems such as Segura, Vision and Origin to analyse verification results, identify gaps and provide clear progress updates to the business.
  • Supporting traceability and transparency projects, including new system implementation, supply chain mapping and supplier engagement.
  • Developing internal communications, training and best practice guidance while keeping up to date with new packaging legislation, industry initiatives and innovations to help Reiss stay ahead of future requirements.

What we’ll do for you

  • Competitive salary and company bonus.
  • Up to 65% employee discount.
  • Access to exclusive sample sales.
