Schedule

  • Sunday 7am - 6pm

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $22/hr DOE
    • Additional $1/hr shift differential for weekends=$23/hr
  • Sick Time (40 hours annually)
  • Time and a Half Holiday Pay
  • 401k and up to 3% match after 3 months of employment
  • Up to $400 per year for approved CEUs
  • All required licensure/certification costs for position paid for by the company

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and portion control guidelines
  • Ensure that food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
  • Collaborate with the detox staff to plan menus, estimate food requirements, and order necessary supplies
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, and proper food storage and rotation
  • Maintain accurate records of food production, temperature logs, and other required documentation
  • Utilize infection control protocols and allergen management

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current food handlers permit
  • Previous experience as a cook in a healthcare or institutional food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and modified diets commonly used in a clinical setting
  • Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret recipes, menus, and production sheets
  • Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire.

Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer
