About the role
Your responsibilities
- Support daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, testing, documentation, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis spectroscopy, ICP-MS, and other wet chemistry methods.
- Assist with analytical method development, validation, verification, and transfer to Quality Control (QC) laboratories.
- Coordinate analytical activities and testing requirements for both internal development projects and external manufacturing partners.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and communicate project status, results, and technical findings effectively.
- Review, organize, and maintain analytical data, including results generated by third-party laboratories.
- Support investigation and troubleshooting activities related to analytical testing, methods, and product development projects.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and internal quality standards.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Laboratory experience gained through coursework, internships, research, co-op programs, or industry experience.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques, scientific principles, and data recording practices.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, or UV/Vis spectroscopy through coursework, internships, research, or industry experience. (desired)
- Familiarity with laboratory documentation practices and data management systems. (desired)
- Exposure to GMP, GLP, FDA regulations, or dietary supplement manufacturing environments. (desired)
- Experience working in a laboratory, academic research setting, internship, or co-op program. (desired)
