About this role

Job Title: Cuber

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Possible OT on Fridays) 
Starting Pay: $18.50/hr. 

Job Purpose To inspect and ensure product meets specifications before packaging and to ensure equipment is operational to meet daily production goals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To operate the Cuber machine 
  • To operate the Depalleter, Splitter, Wrapper, Tumbler, and Tumbling cuber machines
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Follow all Lock Out and Tag out Safety procedures.
  • Inspect product going through machine to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Fill out Cuber Operator Checklist hourly and scrap reports for product being thrown away
  • Assist in any machine breakdowns and mold changes
  • Assist with clean ups either machine, mixer, or hoppers
  • Learn to operate a forklift
  • Hand stacking or splitting product
  • Put together fire pit kits
  • Follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Forklift Certification
  • May require Respirator fit testing
  • Able to read a tape measure or depth gauge
  • Ability to read and understand English

Work Environment: Exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and hot and cold temperatures while in manufacturing facilities.

Physical Demands: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to stand for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 80 pounds requiring repetitive hand movement, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy . Works indoors most of the time. Works close to other people
