Player Academic Tutor (Daytime)

Job DetailsJob Location: Kraft Soccer - Foxborough, MA 02035Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's DegreeSalary Range: $15.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Category: Sports TeamSUMMARY: The Tutor reports to the Director of Youth Development and will provide off-field education support to the Revolution Academy Residency Players.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Track student-athletes’ online school progress, including overseeing completion of assignments and classes
Help student-athletes communicate with their online school and teachers
Provide guidance and support with academics as needed
Complete weekly check-ins with every student-athlete that utilizes tutor services
Collaboratively create class and assignment schedules with student-athletes
Educate student-athletes on NCAA eligibility and guidelines
Facilitate scheduling of state-mandated testing for student-athletes
Regularly communicate with Academy Director with necessary academic updates
Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree required
3+ years of experience teaching or tutoring
2-4 years of experience providing well-being support in a residency setting or relevant
Effective communication skills, oral and written
Demonstrated time management skills
Organized and attentive to detail
Ability to effectively adjust to needs and changing schedules
Must be able to travel and work nights/weekends as required
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish / Portuguese) preferred
