Linacre Private Hospital now hiring! Our 67 bed hospital provides a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services to the Bayside community and beyond. We have four operating theatres, procedure room, day surgery unit and a high dependency unit.

Job Description
Our Theatre Technicians are the quiet achievers who keep our operating theatres running flawlessly, ensuring patients receive the safest, most precise care possible.
This is a permanent part-time opportunities and your duties in this role will include:
- Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures
- Performing cleaning and sterilising duties
- Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff
- Maintaining surgical equipment and implements
- Transporting and supporting theatre patients.
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:
- A minimum of 12 months Technician experience within an operating theatre
- Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a diverse team
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role
- Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures

Additional Information
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
