North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 336-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

North Shore Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Vascular and Interventional Lab on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be providing expert nursing care and clinical leadership within our Vascular and Interventional Lab, ensuring optimal patient safety and sterile field integrity. You will coordinate specialised technology and multi-disciplinary teams in high-acuity surgical environments to deliver advanced, evidence-based patient outcomes. You will be required to act as a team leader, professional resource, passionate mentor, and a positive role model to junior team members. You will maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and manage rapidly changing situations with proficiency and care. This leadership role will see the successful candidate be fully supported to enhance their skills and grow a career into a management position.

About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in a Vascular Lab environment
• Relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
• A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance
• Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential.

Overall, you are willing to take on the challenge of this role, to learn, extend and grow your career in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $58.81 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/ Midwifery Specialist gr1-gr8)
