Job Description
Ramboll is a leading transportation infrastructure consultancy committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. With a focus on excellence and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join us as the Assistant Engineer – Bridges for our domestic transportation business at Gurguram and Mumbai Office.
As the Assistant Engineer – Bridges, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities will be:
To perform analysis and design of bridge structures for different projects.
To prepare calculation reports, technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects.
To coordinate with team members and ensure delivery of projects within specified timeframe.
To perform QA checks on the designs and drawings produced to ensure quality delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred.
About 2-3 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects with a proven record of successful detailed design project delivery.
Strong knowledge of codes and standards.
Hands on experience in using software like Sofistik, MIDAS etc.
Structured working style with result-oriented approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
