About the Opportunity

The General Laborer will be involved in most aspects of our greenhouse production but is focused on tasks to maximize efficiency and yield, while quality standards are maintained. This role supports various stages of plant production and order fulfillment, maintains attention to detail, and ensures consistent performance through accurate and timely execution of tasks. Collaboration is essential, closely with supervisors to identify and address quality issues.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assisting with hand or automated seeding
• Planting plants or plugs by hand
• Hand sticking plant cuttings
• Spacing, grading, sorting, pinching, straightening, trimming, weeding and moving of plants
• Picking plants for orders, loading carts, stickering UPCs, sleeving
• Handing plants on irrigation lines
• Identifying quality issues to Greenhouse Supervisor
• Ensuring accuracy and efficiency while achieving productivity targets

• Working in all weather conditions
• Basic understanding of plants is beneficial but not required
• Production experience, preferably greenhouse related.
