Compensation

Starting Salary: $46,000 - $62,000 (total compensation)  
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (weekends if available)

Position Summary

The entry level Field Administrator will support daily field and office operations across active construction sites in the New York metropolitan area. This position involves supporting activities across all project disciplines including office, field, engineering, and quality administration.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect and organize field documentation, including daily reports and photographs
  • Assist with progress tracking using digital tools and project management software
  • File job progress photographs for documentation and reporting
  • Provide general administrative support to field and office teams
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and technical staff to help achieve project goals
  • Learn how large-scale transit projects are documented, tracked, and delivered

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate seeking professional work experience
  • Interested in engineering, construction, or project management
  • Familiar with project management and design workflow tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Procore
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with on-site and office teams
  • Highly organized with strong time management capabilities


Previous construction or field experience is helpful but not required. Training and mentorship will be provided.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with computer work at a desk.
  • May require occasional visits to project sites for measurements, coordination, or inspections.
  • Frequent sitting, reading, and use of computer keyboards and monitors.
  • Occasional standing, walking, or climbing during field visits.
