RA Holdings, through our AIM Services Inc branch, is looking for Demolition Team Leads.
Company-Branch Overview: AIM Services is one out of three branches that make up the RA Holdings family. AIM Services is an environmental, abatement, remediation, HAZMAT, and demolition contractor founded in 2003. They are a SWaM-certified small business with offices located in Virginia, Maryland, District of Colombia, North Carolina, and projected growth across the East Coast. Their teams provide specialty contracting services within government, maritime/shipboard, industrial, commercial, and residential projects within a region. AIM has built its reputation around the philosophy of providing quality work and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage demolition and abatement crews ranging from 5–30 team members across multiple project sites.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain productivity under deadlines.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review safety procedures, project goals, and crew assignments.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
- Oversee demolition, abatement, and site preparation activities for government, military, industrial, and commercial projects.
- Enforce all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations and ensure crew compliance at all times.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders to execute tasks accurately.
- Monitor crew productivity, quality of work, and job site organization throughout each phase of the project.
- Communicate effectively with crew members, subcontractors, site contacts, and management.
- Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, and project progress updates.
- Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles as needed to support field operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have the Real ID.
- Must be able to pass background checks for military base access.
- Must have a Driver’s License and meet requirements to get into company policy.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while leading a team.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Positive and professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Coachable and trainable with the ability to develop into a strong crew leader.
- Previous experience assisting a supervisor or taking on leadership responsibilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate team members, communicate effectively, and lead by example.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location:
- Richmond, VA
Pay:
- $22-$25hr DOE
