About the Opportunity

 

At RACV, we're building the future of leisure and hospitality. As our portfolio continues to evolve, we're seeking a commercially savvy and analytical Finance Business Partner – Labour Management to lead labour planning, productivity initiatives and workforce analytics across RACV's leisure portfolio of 10 iconic resorts.

Reporting into the Head of Finance - Leisure, you will lead labour forecasting and budgeting processes, provide actionable insights to operational leaders, and champion productivity improvement initiatives that enhance business outcomes.

 

In this role, you'll be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, challenging the status quo and turning data into action. You bring a strong understanding of labour management within complex, workforce-intensive environments and have the confidence to influence decision-making, support sustainable growth and work closely with Resort Managers, People & Culture, Payroll and operational stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Partner with operational leaders to optimise labour performance, productivity and workforce planning across the Leisure portfolio
  • Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes for labour costs, hours and FTEs
  • Develop and embed labour analytics, reporting and KPI frameworks that drive accountability and performance
  • Identify and implement productivity improvement initiatives and business simplification opportunities
  • Deliver insightful commercial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Support Payroll and People & Culture teams with award, enterprise agreement and workforce-related changes
  • Own labour management reporting, including month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with Group timelines and financial policies
  • Promote best-practice labour management processes and continuous improvement across the business
  • Occasional travel to RACV properties in VIC, QLD & TAS may be required

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • CA or CPA qualification, essential
  • 5+ years business experience in accounting or commercial management, essential
  • 5+ years experience within a large hotel, hospitality, leisure or similar high-volume labour environment, essential
  • Proven expertise in labour cost management, workforce planning and productivity analysis
  • Strong financial planning, forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Advanced MS Office incl Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Experience with workforce management systems, such as Kronos or PMS
  • Strong ERP and Cognos TM1 experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
