The Role
We're seeking a passionate and strategic Product Operations Lead to take our R&D operations to the next level. In this role, you'll own the management of core product operations to deliver maximum impact - leading our company-wide roadmapping, driving key performance metrics, and owning the refinement and management of our core processes and tools - while also reshaping how R&D builds for tomorrow through AI.
In this role, you’ll also lead our AI SDLC transformation across R&D. At its center is a bold vision - enabling any R&D team member, human or AI agent, to take an initiative from idea to "almost done" independently. You'll lead the development of the foundational context, policies, and tooling that make this possible, as well as the change management to shepherd the R&D team through this new way of working.
It's a high-visibility, influence-driven role with a unique scope - running the operational engine of R&D while spearheading the reinvention of how that engine works.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall development & strategy setting for operations across Product & Engineering — setting key performance targets, tracking outcomes, and driving strategic initiatives.
- Own and drive the AI SDLC transformation across R&D — champion and operationalize the vision of enabling any team member (engineering, product/design, or AI agent) to take an initiative from “idea” to “almost done” (short of code review) on their own.
- Define and manage the roadmap to achieve the vision — org-wide foundational context, harness and tooling, and the agents, skills, and workflows built on top.
- Spearhead change management across the R&D organization.
- Iterate on the roadmap based on feedback and learnings.
- Facilitate the company roadmapping process — standardized mechanisms for intake of input, execution of roadmapping activities, cross-team dependency management, alignment of OKRs, and distribution of roadmap content.
- Manage the Solution Development Lifecycle across our key solutions — facilitating launches, tracking experiments, and ensuring high-quality documentation across teams.
- Operate as the initial point of contact for the product team in company-wide initiatives such as evolving onboarding, knowledge management, and employee growth & development.
- Lead and coordinate strategic meetings across Product, Engineering, and cross-functional leadership.
- Identify and evolve bottlenecked processes, applying strategic thinking to streamline operations and improve overall team efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience beginning to drive an AI-driven SDLC transformation.
- Deeply AI-pilled — current, hands-on fluency with coding agents and agentic workflows, and active experimentation with AI tools in your professional and personal life.
- Strong change management experience and skills — you’re able to rally and move a cross-functional team (engineers, product leaders, and designers) around new ways of working without relying on direct authority.
- Strong operational skills, such as measuring & regularly reporting on key metrics that drive toward key insights & effective decision-making.
- Highly adaptable with strong critical thinking skills, capable of evolving processes, addressing bottlenecks, and responding to operational challenges.
- Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong, professional presence in working with customers / partners (including C-Suite executives).
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and pitch in / fill in gaps when a team needs help.
- Nice to haves: product management experience, project management certification, experience in healthcare technology.
