We are seeking a compassionate and professional Remote Customer Support Specialist to join our team on either a Part-Time or Full-Time basis. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, representing an organisation at the forefront of critical medical research. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer enquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to callers while upholding the company's professional standards.
- Handle sensitive enquiries with empathy, discretion, and a high level of care.
- Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams for further investigation and response.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Stay informed about the company's public-facing information to ensure consistency in communications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer support, client services, or a similar public-facing role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and articulate manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and the ability to manage sensitive conversations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a talent for de-escalating challenging situations.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other customer support software.
- A highly organised individual with a strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- A genuine interest in the healthcare or bioscience sector is highly desirable but not essential.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
