About the role

As a Record Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the integrity of information within our organization. This full-time position, based in New York, involves meticulous record keeping, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible for reference and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital records, ensuring that all documents are properly categorized and stored according to established protocols.
  • Perform regular audits of records to verify accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the retrieval of information for various departments, responding promptly to requests for documentation and data.
  • Update and input data into the records management system, ensuring that all entries are accurate and reflect the most current information available.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve record-keeping processes and implement best practices for information management.
  • Provide support in training new staff on record-keeping procedures and the appropriate use of the records management system.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in computer applications and record management software, with a basic understanding of database systems.
