We are looking for a Utility Laborer to join our Big Spring, TX location. As a Utility Laborer with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will perform a variety of tasks as part of a crew to help ensure safe and efficient jobsite performance.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Occasionally performs general laboring duties, such as shoveling and raking stone, gravel, earth, and topsoil material.
- Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
- Regularly erects, positions, and moves sign packages in a safe, accurate manner, adhering to state specifications.
- Move traffic control devices regularly lifting 30 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs.
- Occasionally direct traffic through construction sites using proper equipment and procedures.
- Occasionally lift heavy objects.
About You
We Require:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel for work.
- Ability to work outside in the elements.
