We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Newberry, FL. As a Maintenance Supervisor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations on 2nd shift, supervising technicians, and supporting the Maintenance Manager in keeping our cement plant running safely and reliably.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Assist Maintenance Coordinator and Manager in the development of the 3-year maintenance cycle, including departmental budget and turnaround activities.
- Continuously evaluate spare parts availability and recommend stocking levels.
- In conjunction with the planner, establish and maintain a system for proper storage of pre-works and parts for pending work.
- Remain up-to-date on new technologies and techniques as related to the mechanical work.
- Carry out the development and implementation of mechanical improvements and modifications as a result of corrective actions or as requested by other departments.
- Control the use and co-ordinate the work of outside mechanical contractors, ensuring compliance to all Plant policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees carry radios and communicate effectively with all parties.
- Ensure that break time and lunch times are controlled.
- Enforce plant specific Policies (No Smoking areas, LOTOTO, PPE, etc.)
- Recommend job plan changes to Maintenance Planners.
- Execute the schedule of planned work with assigned resources.
- Understand and actively promote the importance of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
About You
We Require:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in cement, mining, aggregates, or a similar heavy manufacturing environment
- 1–2+ years in a supervisory or lead role, or demonstrated leadership experience
- Competent in SAP, Word, Excel, and other programs as they relate to the work at hand.
We Prefer:
- Technical/trade school certification or Associate's degree in a mechanical/industrial field preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, and rotating equipment common to cement/aggregate plants
- Proficiency with SAP (or similar CMMS), Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and job plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with planners, contractors, and other departments
