Position Summary

Quest Food Management Services is looking for a Cook I to join our school food service team. This role helps prepare and serve fresh, quality meals while creating a welcoming experience for students and guests.

The Cook I supports daily kitchen operations including food preparation, service, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare menu items according to Quest recipes, standards, and daily preparation lists

  • Assist with bulk food preparation and daily meal production

  • Prepare cold items, including salads and grab-and-go selections

  • Serve meals on the hot line and assist customers during meal service

  • Support catering preparation as needed

  • Receive, organize, and properly store kitchen deliveries

  • Keep food service lines clean, stocked, and professionally presented

  • Assist with general kitchen cleaning and organization

  • Follow all HACCP, food safety, and sanitation guidelines

  • Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations as needed
