OEM Technician – Quality & Administration

Position Summary

Quest International BV is seeking an OEM Technician with some administrative and quality-control experience to support the Belgium Service Repair Center.

The position combines hands-on equipment inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair with work-order processing, data entry, quality records, and inventory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Follow repair procedures, technical instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform incoming and final equipment inspections.
• Complete work orders and enter repair information into ERP or tracking systems.
• Record serial numbers, parts used, test results, and repair findings.
• Maintain calibration, ESD, quality, and traceability records.
• Identify and document damaged or nonconforming equipment.
• Support inventory checks, parts tracking, and cycle counts.
• Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, and audit documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electronics, electro-mechanical equipment, OEM repair, assembly, testing, or technical service.
• Some administrative, data-entry, documentation, or inventory experience.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document completed work.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and business tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong working English and functional Dutch.
• Legal authorization to work in Belgium without sponsorship.
• Reliable daily transportation to the Bornem facility.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with multimeters, electronic test equipment, ERP systems, quality inspections, calibration records, ESD procedures, RMAs, ISO documentation, or medical-device repair.
