Position Summary

Quest International is seeking a hands-on Field Service & Depot Supervisor to lead daily field service, depot repair, and technical service operations in Belgium. This position combines technical knowledge with people leadership and is responsible for technician performance, service quality, scheduling, customer escalations, and operational results.

The ideal candidate has direct experience working with medical devices, electro-mechanical equipment, professional A/V systems, or comparable technical equipment and understands the work technicians perform—not just the administrative side of service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field service, depot repair, and technical support operations.
  • Coordinate technician scheduling, dispatch, workload, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor service KPIs, SLA performance, technician utilization, repair turnaround, and quality.
  • Manage customer and technical escalations through timely resolution.
  • Coach, train, and develop technicians while maintaining performance and accountability.

Technical & Depot Operations

  • Support equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance during complex equipment and service escalations.
  • Ensure accurate service records, repair documentation, work orders, and operational reporting.
  • Participate in OEM product training and support development of service procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure field and depot activities meet company, customer, quality, and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of field service, depot repair, technical service, or related technical operations experience.
  • Previous experience supervising technicians or leading technical service teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, or testing technical equipment.
  • Strong experience with scheduling, service KPIs, customer escalations, documentation, and service workflows.

Preferred Experience

  • Medical device or medical capital equipment service experience.
  • Electro-mechanical, professional A/V, low-voltage, or comparable equipment repair experience.
  • Experience supporting both customer-site field technicians and depot repair operations.
  • Experience using service ticketing, technical documentation, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with Operations, Engineering, Quality, customers, and cross-functional leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • A hands-on technical leader who understands equipment repair and troubleshooting.
  • Someone comfortable leading technicians while remaining connected to the technical work.
  • A strong problem-solver who can manage customer, equipment, scheduling, and operational escalations.
  • A clear communicator who can work effectively with technicians, customers, and leadership.
  • A dependable supervisor focused on service quality, accountability, technician development, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation of €28–€32 per hour.
  • Full-time, direct-hire employment.
  • Opportunity to lead both field and depot technical service operations.
  • Exposure to OEM products, technical training, and customer service programs.
  • Collaborative environment focused on technical excellence, quality, and customer service.
