UCT is looking for a talented Supervisor, Warehouse to join us in Austin, TX!
The Supervisor, Warehouse oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, material movement, inventory control, and outbound logistics to support semiconductor manufacturing. This role manages warehouse personnel, prioritizes workflow, ensures accuracy of transactions, and enforces safety, quality, and cleanroom/ESD practices where applicable. The Supervisor drives operational efficiency, maintains inventory integrity, and partners with Materials, Planning, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to support uninterrupted production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign actions to receiving, inventory and warehouse clerks.
- Manage shortages.
- Manage on-time delivery of parts.
- Manage product handling and storing.
- Manage capacity and overtime.
- Manage department productivity.
- Weekly status reporting (KPIs once a month).
- Manage subordinates.
- Guide and coach subordinates.
- Establish and manage cross - training requirements.
- Take appropriate corrective actions against subordinates when necessary.
- Perform Annual reviews of subordinates.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Manage shipping supervisor with activities as defined under Job Description for shipping supervisor.
- Manage daily scheduled shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage cycle counting process to verify inventory accuracy.
- Maintain necessary documentation i.e., logs, etc.).
- Maintain manufacturing processes (i.e., KANBAN, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, etc.).
- Maintain warehouse areas i.e., cleanliness, organization and flow, safety, etc.
- Manage ECO changes in inventory including effectivity dates.
- Ensure proper implementation and follow through on processes and procedures.

Educational/Certification Requirement:
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent in Business Administration.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- Demand Flow Manufacturing training and experience.
- Experience in JIT and KANBAN principles and practices.
- Experience in latest Warehouse practices.
- Successfully managed inventory groups for over 5 years.
- Visual Manufacturing Systems experience.
Management Experience
- Must have experience managing most of the above responsibilities for at least 1-3 years.
- Must have warehouse related experience for at least 3-5 years.
- Must have successfully managed warehouse as a supervisor/manager for at least 1-3 years.
- Must have demonstrated success in project management, resource management, productivity improvement, etc.
- Must have demonstrated experience managing warehouse involving 1000s of complex, sensitive, and expensive machined parts, welded assemblies, electromechanical, electrical, optical, pneumatic assemblies/systems.
- Effective communication skills within the functional group and among peer groups.
- Ability to use and manage Manufacturing systems.
- 1-3 years’ experience using Microsoft software i.e., Excel, Word, e-mail.
- Must have successfully managed more than 5-10 subordinates for at least 1-3 years.
- Must have demonstrated ability to:
- manage employees
- guide and coach subordinates
- perform annual reviews
- establish training requirements
- take appropriate corrective actions against subordinates when necessary
- follow company policies and procedures
