UCT is looking for a talented Production Assist to join us in Malaysia!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing inventory of welding materials and supplies. Ensure the timely replenishment of consumables and other production-related materials.
- Support cleanroom welding processes by preparing equipment, tools, and materials in accordance with company protocols to ensure a contamination-free environment.
- Assist welders by providing necessary tools and materials, preparing workpieces, and handling pre- and post-welding tasks. Ensure that welding tasks are completed in compliance with specified standards and specifications.
- Assist in inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet strict quality standards for semiconductor components, documenting and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
- Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures, cleanliness standards, and particle count limits. Help ensure that all processes are conducted in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO standards, FDA, or other relevant guidelines).
- Record production data, equipment performance, and material usage. Support the team in maintaining accurate documentation required for process audits, compliance, and reporting.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by following safety protocols, reporting hazards, and ensuring compliance with all workplace safety regulations.
- Work closely with the production team, engineers, and quality control specialists to improve efficiency and support the overall production goals.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or experience in manufacturing environments are a plus.
Experience Requirement:
- Min 3 years experiences of working experience in manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment is preferred, particularly in welding or semiconductor production.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Basic computer literacy particularly MsOffice (Excel, Powerpoint and Word).
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and industry-specific standards.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency in tasks.
- Shift work may be required based on production needs.
