About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance web applications for enterprise customers, with strong React/JavaScript skills and curiosity about AI-assisted engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, performant UIs using React and modern JavaScript.
- Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, uphold best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Own CI/CD workflows (Jenkins) and manage source control (Bitbucket/Git).
- Track work in Jira with clear technical scoping.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools to improve velocity and quality.
- Champion accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready UI.
Required Skills and Experience
- JavaScript (ES6+) — strong fundamentals and asynchronous patterns.
- React (5+ years hands-on) — hooks, component composition, performance optimization, state management (Redux Toolkit or equivalent).
- Node.js — building/maintaining backend services, REST APIs, or BFF layers.
- HTML5 and CSS3 — semantic markup, responsive layouts, CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks.
- Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git — sprint tracking, CI/CD, and version control.
- Vite and/or Webpack — bundling, build configuration, and performance tuning.
- Practical exposure to AI-assisted development — LLM coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Devin), prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and MCP or similar tool-use patterns.
- Micro-frontend architectures and Module Federation.
- Writing unit test cases using Vitest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or Chai.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and their application in frontend architecture.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SSE (Server-Sent Events) or real-time streaming patterns.
- Prior mentoring or feature-team leadership experience.
- TypeScript.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience Level
5 to 9 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 2-4 years on production React applications at scale.
