Founder in Residence Intern

Amsterdam · Hybrid

About this role

The New Ventures team is Qogita's internal venture-building engine - researching, testing, and building the company's next major business opportunity across new geographies, product categories, and software verticals.

As a Founder in Residence Intern, your mission is to support the Founders in Residence in exploring and validating new business opportunities, gaining hands-on exposure to the full journey of early-stage venture building inside a fast-moving company.
  • Market research: Support market mapping exercises by performing structured data analysis to identify where real demand exists across geographies and product categories
  • Customer discovery: Assist in user discovery interviews, building towards running them independently as your confidence and context grows
  • Internal tooling: Help build and maintain internal tools that sustain operations across active new ventures
  • Operational execution: Contribute directly to live ventures as the primary operational executor - stepping in as a sales rep, procurement specialist, or whatever the venture needs at that moment
  • Cross-venture support: Coordinate with Founders in Residence to keep multiple workstreams moving, flagging blockers and preparing materials as needed
  • What you'll bring
    • Background in STEM, Finance, Economics, Law & Politics, or a related analytical field.
    • Commercially curious with an interest in understanding customers, markets, and how businesses grow.
    • Proactive problem solver who enjoys figuring things out in ambiguous environments.
    • Able to structure problems, organise information, and work independently while knowing when to ask for support.
    • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to take initiative.
    • Experience at an earliest-stage startup (sub-20 people) is a strong advantage.
    • Examples of taking initiative and driving projects forward, whether through studies, work, extracurricular activities, or personal projects.
    • Available to join July or August 2026.
  • Paid internship: €900 per month
  • 26 days annual leave (pro-rated for the duration of the internship)
  • Travel reimbursement covered
  • Learning & development budget
  • Dog-friendly offices
  • Office socials and annual company-wide offsite
  • MacBook and AirPods provided (AirPods are yours to keep at the end of the internship!)
