About this role

The Specialist – Operational Readiness supports the planning, coordination, and execution of operational readiness activities to ensure new assets, facilities, systems, or services are prepared for successful operations. The role assists in tracking readiness plans, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation to support a smooth transition from project delivery to operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of Operational Readiness plans, schedules, and trackers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to monitor readiness activities and collect status updates.
  • Track readiness milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns where required.
  • Assist in the preparation of readiness reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
  • Support the development and review of operational procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Coordinate readiness workshops, meetings, and site inspections, documenting actions and follow-ups.
  • Support testing activities, including operational trials, simulations, and readiness assessments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including readiness evidence and project records.
  • Assist in ensuring operational documentation is complete before handover.
  • Work closely with project teams and operational departments to support a seamless transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve readiness processes and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Operational Readiness, Project Management, Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycle and operational handover processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
